Another than shopping, shopping and more shopping, I've finally done something significantly meaningful. I finally handed in my application for university! It should have been done years ago, but I only did it days ago. Waiting for my letter of acceptance now, so for the time being, I shall enjoy what little freedom I have left.
I spoke to my boss about it a couple of times, and she was encouraging me to take on a sponsorship from the company, but I did not. The thought of being bonded to the company for like 3 to 5 years is just unbearable. Not that I'm thinking of quitting already (actually, I do think about it on & off), but I would want to stay in the company out of my own will, and not because I have a bond. I've seen my ex-colleagues countdown to the end of their bond and I think it's really a sad thing to think about in your days at work. My parents are ok with paying my education for me. They said it's only fair to pay for mine since they paid for my brother's too. So yeah, I did not heed my boss' advice.
Back to shopping. I've been power-shopping lately I tell you. I need to put a stop to all the luxury shopping. I confess my sins: agnès b. tote and bag-charm ($250++), longchamp le pliage ($300++), kate spade keychain ($60++), Coach mini skinny ($100++), Jill Stuart cosmetics ($200++). Not forgetting other frivolous stuffs like MNG, threadless tees, other cosmetics etc. And my more-and-more-expensive lunches/dinners. So much for saying I want to save for my Hokkaido trip next year. I will have to wait for next year's bonus instead, coz this year's almost gone! >_<
