I had a taste of tai-tai life in a day today, and boy do I love it.
Took leave today (it was brought forward from last year) and met up with my ex-colleague(s). It was supposed to be 2 of them, but 1 played us out because she's meeting the fridge man. LOL! Anyhow, we had ramen at 梅光軒 (Baikohken) — an authentic ramen from Hokkaido, Japan. Been wanting to try it since I saw the new release that was sent to the newsroom last year, but haven't been able to do so. Thank god the shop is still in operation...hahaha! The ramen was not as fantastic as I thought, but one good thing is, it's not as salty as Ajisen and it doesn't taste as artificial. Ajisen's ramen soup base contains nothing but MSG.
After the late lunch, we headed off to TCC for coffee and dessert. Chatted till around 4pm before going off for our shopping at Bugis. I didn't buy much, though. Just some stuffs from Muji and resisted all other temptations. But I saw this really nice pair of pumps from Pazzion! I might go back and buy it some other day. Heh!
Now, I'm tai-tai no more. Just a poor working class dreading work tomorrow. Bleah...
