And so, I had my last, last, last Intermediate level Japanese class yesterday. Final exam's over & done with & I did quite well. Hee! 桜さく。(Sakura saku - meaning sakura has bloomed. Japanese way of saying you've passed the exam.) If my standard stays (or hopefully improve), I should be able to pass my JLPT3 exam end of this year as well. According to the school, their internal final intermediate level exam is equivalent to that of JLPT3 level.
Not gonna start on Pre-Advanced yet coz the classes are full! Damnit! Thank god I still have my JLPT3 prep-class. And I decided to switch my JLPT3 prep-class to another timeslot where one of my current classmate is in. Plus, it starts earlier & ends earlier.
Anyhow, in case you're wondering if I cried (because of not being able to see my sensei every week) after the class ended yesterday, no I didn't. I was surprisingly chirpy actually. She wants all of us to be like that too, I guess. We had dinner together & went home together as well. Had quite a nice chat with each other. And it's decided. She has quit her job with the school & will be going back Japan end of July. Before she goes back, she wants me to organise a last gathering. She told me she wants to go to the beach...I was thinking of going to Sentosa. (Where they have Singapore's nicest beach, sadly & pathetically.) Her birthday's coming too! And I'm planning to celebrate it for her over at Sentosa.
Any nice ideas anyone? To me Sentosa is like a super inconvenient place to do such things (i.e. cake & all...) The last time I went Sentosa was for a colleague's Hen's Party & we had a hotel room to dump our stuffs & all. So, teach me how to have a nice celebration on the island please!
