It was a day of overflowing emotions for me with 2 of my colleagues, whom I'm quite close & chummy with, having their last day of work today.
The Workplace seems to have caught the resignation bug that spreads faster than SARS or bird flu H5N1 did lately. I was just telling another of my colleague that I seem to be signing farewell cards everyday! I wasn't exactly feeling the emotions until today when the 2 colleagues starting saying goodbye & sending hugs to everyone around. Held back my tears for both. (They were at different times of the day mind you...so imagine the emotions roller-coaster ride.)
Especially liked what 1 of my colleague said in the farewell speech. Anyhow, I'm happy for the both of them for finding their greener & definitely bigger pasture. Will miss all the jokes we laughed over MSN, the bitch-out sessions we had, the anger we once went through together, the lunches we had together.
When will my day ever come? For now, I need to grow use to the office that is now without them.
