It's been a long time since I got so touched by a song.
My sensei just sent me a song earlier. Heard of Mr.Children? Formed in 1987, it's been 20 years now and they are still going strong in Japan. They're from Fukuoka, which happens to be my sensei's hometown too. Hahaha! No wonder she loves them so much. Anyhow, here's the song that really touched my heart -- 「くるみ」. I love the PV too!
くるみ (Kurumi) is a name of a girl which translates to walnut directly. (I have no clue why one will be called Walnut. But it sounds nice in Japanese. Haha!) Like how my sensei said to me, when you're feeling down, listen to it, have a good cry, and feel better afterwards.
Part of the lyrics said, 「希望の数だけ失望は増える、それでも明日に胸は震える。どんな事が起こるんだろう、想像してみるんだよ。」 -- this is exactly how I feel now. Sensei, why are you always able to read my mind?!
