I got a shock of my life when I checked my bank account balance just 5 minutes ago. No, I didn't get a million dollars transferred to my account out of the blue. (I very much wish Santa had done me good this year.) But rather, my money just disappeared miraculously, somehow. My bonus doesn't even seem to have existed before. Yes, it's THAT bad.
This is how I've spent my money thus far (minor expenditure excluded):
1.) Registration of Japanese Intermediate 2 class - $210
2.) Purchase of my new lovely pinky keitai - $298 (Yes! I bought it!)
3.) Purchase of a pair of new Papillio - $73.74 (I cut it down to just 1 pair)
4.) Purchase of keitai sutorrapu from Japan on 2 seperate occasions - $155.53
5.) Payment of credit card bill - $420 (approx.)
6.) Payment of cable bill - $58.80
7.) Payment of keitai bill - $34.13
8.) Allowance to Mum - $xxx.xx
[Yes. I refuse to add up all the figures. So don't tell me how much I've spent. I can feel it for myself. Boooohooooo!]
I've figured out where most of my money had gone to when I could have saved it for something more realistic — like my god-knows-when-will-it-happen Japan trip.
GAWD! I think I need some urgent financial planning help.
