Beijing October 2006!
If my Mum keeps to her word, I'll be climbing The Great Wall of China 4 months from now. I desperately need to get away from Stinkapore! Or rather, from work.
We had the dollars & cents "talk" over at the office the other day & somehow, I see some light! Positive light, I hope. Others look...disillusioned. Oh well! We'll know by the end of this week. No point making futile attempts to change what's done.
Anyhow, I digressed. Back to my hoh-ri-lay. I failed to make my Mum go Taiwan. And twice the effort didn't help either when my Dad & I tried to psycho my Mum to go Korea. Of course, Japan is out of the question for her. She'd rather go Korea first the Japan, she said. SIGH! I guess I'll hafta depend on myself for my Dream Come True 1 Month Japan Trip.
Beggars can't be choosers, so it's Beijing for sure. Way better than having my ass stuck to the office chair anyway.
