My long-awaited Japanese class went well today. I arrived on the dot when I thought I would be late. Not very nice to be late for the very first lesson huh?! Damn weather & damn long waiting time for the next bus to the interchange.
Thanks to an astounding record of watching 110 (and counting) Jdoramas, I could follow through the lesson without much stress. Words like: shitsureeshimasu, hajimemashite, doozo yoroshiku onegaishimasu weren't too much of a problem for me to pronounce. But I need to buck-up on my hiragana though. Writing and recognising them. Touched on abit of grammar today & it's so interesting! When to use ka, where to use ni, e, & wa etc.
And, I find my sensei rather cute. Not cute in the handsome way, but hilarious. He's such a kancheong spider! So panicky that the marker flew out of his hand when he tried to write on the whiteboard. He kept mumbling to himself about how lack of time he is, apologising for certain things other people didn't notice. Apparently I'm the only one that took note of such stuffs. Maybe others didn't quite understand him when he spoke in Japanese.
My classmates are kinda cold though. I guess it takes awhile for us to familiarise with one another. And the ratio of males to female is surprisingly bigger for the earlier! In a class of 12, there are only 4 girls.
Anyhow, I'm loving the experience the lesson(s) brought or may bring. I'm glad I finally stopped procrastinating. And with this, I've brought myself a step closer to my dream & a step further from my comfort zone.
