Ever known anyone who can shop at the same place for 2 consecutive days? Ever met people you know at the same place for 2 consecutive days? (And it's totally unplanned.) Well, here's one — yours truly.
If you haven't gone to the newly renovated Marina Square, you MUST go someday. There are amazingly alot of nice shops around! No more big departmental brands to hog some good 2 entire level of space. (i.e. the old Metro. But I kinda miss it actually.) Just small boutiques to fill the whole frigging shopping mall. Went there for 2 consecutive days & I have yet to comb all shops. Must go back again.
Met up with Angie & Diana on Tuesday for rather fume-filling dinner at Suntec (stupid manager at Subway). Thanks for the lovely gifts, dearies! Did a 'lil Christmas shopping & that's where I got "spied at". My colleague spotted me shopping happily from afar & kept mum till the next day, she told me she saw me. KNS! Would've saved on cab if she called me.
Made the second trip to MS yesterday. Met my Mum for dinner (Angie, I can't find the wanton mee leh! Marina Food Loft right?) & went for the free premiere of The Promise (which sucks totally. Please DO NOT watch it unless you have too much bucks to chuck.) Met someone I totally unexpectedly. My photojournalism lecturer, Wayne Umehara! (Yes. He's Japanese.)
I was in the taxi queue at Suntec when I suddenly felt a pair of eyes staring at me. Spun around & saw a strikingly familiar face. Immediately this sentence came to my mind, "C'mon you guys!". Then I shouted, "Wayne!". Hahahaha! Nice to see him after like what, 2 years? I miss photojourn class! Sigh! Getting nostalgic again.
Anyhow, wondrous weekend is coming & my pay's gonna be in this Friday midnight, along with AWS! Woohooo! iPod nano, here I come!
