Warning. An may-be-boring-to-some entry ahead on the thrills & spills of online shopping & sprees. And what have been keeping me busy & awake till 2.30am on Tuesday morning.
That damn sale mentioned in the previous entry started at god knows what time. Waited till 2:30am on Tuesday & I finally gave in to my droopy eyes & went to bed. To answer Stin's question, yes I did order something from there. 4 tees altogether. 2 for sponky the monkey & 2 for myself. Slipped into a clicking frenzy when I got to office yesterday morning. Started eyeing that site from 10am all the way till 2.30pm & finally made my order around 2.45pm? One tee I wanted initially went OOS, but ordered another newly-added design.
I've recently started to fall in love with sprees. (A gathering of people ordering something from an overseas online store & then splitting the costs of shipping, postage & blah equally, thus saving a handful.) Having my virgin spree done on Birkenstocks (those damn slippers are taking ages to arrive!), I've just ordered lip balms from the states. Real cute ones.
From being super skeptical & paranoid about online transactions to getting a debit card, then a paypal account, then a credit card finally, I started safe by ordering from local sites first, then slowly, I progressed to ordering from Japan, then to Birkies from Germany, tees from Chicago, and lip balms from the States. Look how I've taken my shopping experience to great new heights!
I should just say I simply love the idea of having something really exclusive among the people around you. It feels damn good to tell people "Oh! I got this from Japan blah blah blah..." when they comment on how nice the thing you own is. *smirks uncontrollably*
In a recent msn conversation...someone asked me how I save. And my reply was, "Seriously, that's a good question. I dunno also." But, believe me, I'm really trying to save. Really. Really. Really!
I'll start with my bonus first k? After I buy my iPod nano, pay off some debts to my Mum (I still owe her a birthday pressie!), go for a nice haircut for the upcoming festives, get new clothes, maybe a trip to Taiwan, more shoppings etc...etc...
