Too much of whines & rants about work lately. To show that I still love my job, (well actually the people more like it) quotables @ the work table is back!

OIL & oil.
We all know what OIL stands for at the workplace. For those who don't, it means Off In Lieu. In short, we call it OIL. We say oil & not O.I.L. One fine day, while looking at the work schedule...
Colleague: Eh? She OIL tomorrow leh!
Me: Oh, I foresee a day paradise!
Colleague: But where this OIL come from one?
Me: Hmmm..maybe oil from her body? She needs to expel those excessive oil out lah!
Both: WHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Being early for work is always a virtue.
Colleague A packs his bag, bid everyone goodnight, and left the office. 20 minutes later, he returns.
Colleague B: Oh hi there! It's morning already? Hmmm...you're really early for work aren't you? Colleague A: ...........
I was already laughing & choking on my dinner at this point of time.

I love mooncakes!
Having festive seasons around the corner means having lotsa free foodies in the office. Mid-autumn festival is one of them. And of course, mooncakes are abundant. So much that you can eat mooncakes for breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner & supper.
Colleague A: (calling out to colleague B) Eh! Go eat the mooncakes at the pantry...
Colleague B: Nah! I'm sick of 'em.
Colleague A: No! Go...they've nice flavours like champange & cognac
Colleague B: WHAT?!
Colleague A: Champange & cognac (she pronounced it as kon-neck)
Colleague: B: Kon-neck?
Colleague A: Yah! C-O-G-N-A-C.
Colleague B: Erm, you mean cognac (kon-yak)
Colleague: Aiyah! Whatever lah!
Colleague A: (giggling) You know what kon-neck means in Malay?
Colleague A: What? (still as blur)
Colleague B: Ermm...it means cock.
Colleague A: .........
Colleague B: Nice flavour huh?
A female Malay colleague at the corner was flushing like a lobster by now.

Ahhh...I simply love my adorable colleagues. They are the exact reason why I'm still hanging on & going strong. A crappy joke, a poke at the waist, a tug at the hair, a pat (& sometimes a hard smack) on the back, a massage on the shoulders, a silly face made at each other along the corridors to the toilet. This is what keeps me going day after day.
