I'VE HAD ENOUGH! My computer is driving me nuts! Day after day, I must re-boot my comp at least 6 times before it can start fuctioning normally. It either switches to safe mode, reboots on its own or that it refuses to load into the log-in page.
Finally, I rang up Harvey Norman this morning. I'm very pleased with their prompt service. Someone picked up my call in less than 10 rings. A polite lady attended to me & said that a technician will call me slightly later in the afternoon to confirm the house-visit. At around 4pm, my mobile rang. Indeed, it was the technician. He asked a few questions & said that he'll pay a visit tomorrow morning to check on my comp. It'll usually take like 3-5 days for a technician to come down if I were to call Compaq. (That was what happened the previous time round.)
But because I hafta work the next day, I changed the appointment to next Wednesday instead. My precious off-day for sleeping gone just like that. I intend to sleep my day through actually. But they'll be coming by in the morning, between 9am to 10am. My stupid comp better get fixed man. I'm gonna be giving up my beauty sleep for it.
Oh well, time to start up-backing files & data now. It's about time I get a thumb-drive. God knows how many CDs I'll be needing for my mp3s.
