Got inspired by a Jdorama (Itoshi Kimi E) I watched recently. If given a choice, what will you choose to lose? Your sight? Your voice? Your hearing? I pick voice.
I can't bear not being able to see the faces of the ones I love. I can't bear living in a world of darkness. I can't bear not being able to see my room's ceiling when I wake up every morning. I can't bear not being able to watch all my Jdoramas.
I can't bear not being able to hear how lively this world is — birds chirping, babies crying, thunder striking. I can't bear not being able to hear my colleague's laughter. I can't bear not being able to hear my mp3s blasting through my ears.
I can bear not talking — words can express how I feel. I can bear not gossiping — it'll make the world a better place.
It's the whole world I'm losing if I'm blind. It's half the world I'm losing if I'm deaf. It's just my voice I'm losing if I'm mute.
