And so my long-awaited half-day came (& left) after a 6 days work-week + a full Sunday shift the last.
After the lift of the self-imposed "Keep retail stores away from IniQx The Compulsive Shopper" ban, I got released into the retail stores today like those of the Hungry Ghost Festival. My half-day off came at the right-est time. As usual, I bought nothing but more accessories. Got 3 pairs of earrings (a black butterfly one, a pure black squarish one that somehow resembles a disco ball & the most expensive (but still cheap as compared to XXX) of the lot — a fresh water pearl one from Chomel), a really funky bright orange-red watch, a pair of flip-flops from m)phosis (I'm a major fan of m)phosis flip-flops since schooling days. Love their simple yet stylish designs.) & a friggin cute pen. Yes, I actually bought a pen. Been such a long time since I bought one. Hahahaha!
Met up with Anne, Diana, Joanne, Kelvin, Sebast & Ying for dinner as well. The highest turn-up rate for all gatherings we had so far. It's good to see everyone & catch-up with each other's doings & life. Glad everyone's well.
Having one more OIL tomorrow. Gonna spent it on shopping again. This time for stuffs for my Bangkok trip. All the knickknacks & blah needed for the trip.
Sigh! I hate to pack. I always overpack. =(
