The making of this post didn't come easy. Mr Cranky Compaq Pressario died on me 3 times before I could get this up. Told you I'm down on luck these days. Sigh!
Anyhow, I finally braced myself for a journey to the west this afternoon. Having gained a tormenting experience the previous time, I decided to be paranoid - I started scrutinizing the location map of my destination & I went further by memorizing the names of all the amenities surrounding the building. I just don't wanna get myself stranded on Penjuru Road with stray dogs & Banglas for the second time.
When I finally saw the building with the word CREATIVE slapped across its entrance, I was already half-dead. Imagine travelling from Hougang to Jurong East on foot, train, bus then foot again under the sorching hot sun. Never mind my whines. I soon realised all the time, effort, energy & money thrown in for this journey to the west are all worth it.
I found the Customer Care Centre on the ground floor & waited for about 10 minutes till I got attended to. I told the personnel my player's LCD screen is not showing anything & when he disappeared into another room with my player, I thought it'll be another 14 days till I next see it. He returned about 10 seconds later with a form & a player in a zip-lock bag. He asked if it's alright if they give me a new player to replace my faulty one. I'll lose all the data inside, he reminded. A BRAND NEW PLAYER?! I'd be sleeping in IMH if I said no. Of course it's alright! Nothing but a big fat definite OK!
After all the necessary procedures, I left the place. Almost skipping my way out like a little girl. The difference is, I have a brand new MuVo Slim instead of a lollipop in my hand.
