It suddenly hit me that I've yet to receive any letter or notice from IRAS about income tax filing. I started to panic when Mum told me Dad's letter already arrived.
Then, I remember receiving some IRAS form thingy from my HR department. It says Form 8E. My Dad told me I do not have to file coz my company already did so for me. (HUH?!) I surfed the IRAS website alittle, but it doesn't help at all for first-timers like me!
Question: If my company is under the "List of employers participating in the auto-inclusion scheme for employment income", does it mean my company has filed my income tax for me? Or maybe I don't even have to file my income tax? Since I didn't receive any notice to do so.
How the hell does income tax filing work??? >_<
