Is it just me or are the clothes these day really ugly? Tried to shop for more CNY clothes today, but there was nothing I fancied, except for skirts. Saw like 5 skirts which I really like. But, I reckoned I need tops more than skirts/bottoms. So, no additions to my wardrobe for now.
As always, I ended up buying alot more other stuffs. Finally found the earrings I wanted at Perlinis. The crystal on one side of my old pair, fell off & somehow disintegrated itself. Bought a new set of earphones for my player as well. The original one is just too goddamn big for my ears.
I know I'm slow, but I went to the "More shops upstairs" (don't know the name for the place or perhaps it doesn't have a name. All I see are big signs that say "More shops upstairs ->") shopping area at Bugis street this afternoon for the first time. I don't seem to be able to find the correct staircase leading to the shops the previous time(s) I went, albeit I saw the signs. They should re-strategize them. Tsk. Anyhow, half-way through my browsing, I got stopped by a 40-odd year old auntie out of nowhere. I was just walking through the shops when suddenly, I felt a tap on my hand & apparently, this particular auntie with tattooed eyebrows is staring deep into my eyes. She looks utterly mesmerized by me until I asked her who she is? (I don't remember having any relative with tattooed eyebrows.) The spell got broken & she shrugged me off by saying "Ah! Never mind!" Like wtf?! Oh, so now it's my fault for not recognising her?! When obviously she mistook me for someone she knew. No apologies given as usual. But all's fair since I passed her a "Are you a psycho?" look.
It'll be the first & last time I'm going to "More shops upstairs ->".
