Some exhilarating good news just reached my ears this evening. I heard there's gonna be a pay revision exercise at my workplace. Hah! Like finally they realised how many of us are utterly underpaid. Tsk! Something has to be done to the high turn-over rate there. We are like holding at least one farewell party every month on average. Budden again, isn't it the same everywhere else?
Angie popped by my office today with her pretty boss to drop off some CNY goodies for my food writer & business correspondent. Little surprises as such always make me happy. =0) Can't wait to meet my mass commie mates tomorrow. Can't wait to get my hands & mouth on the Japanese food that I've been craving for dunno since when. Been ages since my lips touch any authentic Japanese food. Totally deprived. Umai! Umai! =D
Simply love the short week I have. Just 2.5 days worth of work. A nice make-up for the anemic 6-days work week I had.
Did some shopping (for clothes finally. I need to stop buying earrings, rings & necklaces.) before work today, and I can't get enough of it! This is bad. So bad.
