Is it true that birthday girls & birthday boys tend to be luckier than usual during their birthday period? It seems true for me. Managed to buy this pink floral skirt from Bugis. It's the exact same skirt I saw in OG Orchard Point. They didn't had my size & it was the last piece on sale. The sales personnel wasn't very helpful either. Asked her if I can find the same skirt at other outlets, she just gave me a pathetic look & said, "I dunno!" Oh well...she's just a young lass on vacation job.
Headed for retail therapy after attending one of my pal's ROM. The best part is, myself & my companion was late for the solemnisation & so, I don't feel like I just attended a wedding. Nonetheless, happy marriage to my dear girl & her boy. Errrr...man. The sweet couple's heading for Europe next week. How nice...I wanna get quixotic too! =P
Back to my shopping. I bought impractical junks again. Handphone pouches (which I never ever use), handphone accessories (which can only be seen on my phone for a couple of weeks), a scented Qing Tian Wa Wa, (A kind of cotton doll Japanese hang on their window on hope of getting good, sunny weather. Been trying to get one for years! Finally found it in Singapore). A pink (again, you may groan) pouch for my digicam. (This is the only non-junk I bought, other than my skirt.) Ohhh! I bought a brain supplement as well - The Best Awful. The edition I bought has got a much colourful cover. That's what caught my eye amidst the whole heap of books in Kino.
Not gonna calculate how much I spent. I don't understand why some people (like my mum) like to gather all the receipts at the end of the day & start calculating the amount of money spent. It's such a spoiler! =P I'm just gonna soak in a huge bubble of gaiety for awhile, until I go update my bank book.
