For the second time round, I picked the wrong movie to watch with my colleagues. So bad that I'm labelled as The Movie Jinx. I'm not gonna suggest watching movie ever again! =(
The first movie was Clean, starring Maggie Cheung. I thought it'll be a good show since she got the Best Actress award for Festival De Cannes. It turn out to be a good show still. A good show for dozing off in the theatre. That was the very first time i fell asleep in the theatre. The whole movie has got a very hollow storyline & plot. Anyway, the bottomline is, Maggie can't sing for nuts. Period.
Watched Birth yesterday. Totally adore Nicole Kidman & so went ahead for the movie. It has a nice plot but sucky & abrupt ending. The story develops nicely right from the start (though Nicole Kidman's husband's death is kinda lame) but I hate the ending. It's like a try-so-hard ending - trying so hard to make the movie end somewhere in the "righteous" way.
So, I'm officially known as The Movie Jinx now.
Anyhow, me & my colleagues went shopping after the movie & I got myself a birthday present - a Swatch watch - Uniflor. Ahhhhh! Isn't pink a lovely colour?
