Today marks my first 10am shift (after 6 weeks of upside down life). That horrible shift that is also called the "chasing the editors for lines like they are some lost herds of sheep & at the same time get scoldings from boss" shift. Nice timing, 10am - 7:30pm. Which means I can still watch my beloved Japanese dramas & sleep around 1am or 2am & then wake up at around 8.15am and have enough time to do some shop around or errands running when I knock off. Is it obvious that I'm trying to make it sound as nice as possible?
Having some orientation thingy tomorrow at Caldecott Broadcast Centre (CBC), 8:30am in the morning, (that should be spent lying in bed instead) after which head back to newsroom & continue working. Bleah! But I'm off on Wednesday. Hohoho! Did I mention that I saw my pink mp3 player at Carrefour Suntec yesterday? YES! I saw the player! A friggin fake plastic display set. I was happy for nothing when I screamed like a mad woman when I saw the "player" on display in the counter. My colleague thought I saw a ghost actually. But guess what?! I just went to the website 5 seconds ago & it shows that the pink mp3 player is available for online purchase! Wooohooooo!!!!!!!!! My patience paid off! *wipes tears* Thank you, lamebo! Thanks for asking me to wait when I wanted so much to get the next nicest white 5GB player instead. I'll share (the joy of getting) my mp3 player with you when I get it on Wednesday. Gonna get Dad to drive me down to Creative HQ in Jurong. Yes, I'm that excited! Hopefully on-site/on-location sale is available. *crosses fingers*
