Don't say I didn't warn you. This is gonna be a friggin' long entry. Was too happy, pissed, busy, sad & tired (yes altogether) to write over the weekend.
Not quite snappy happy digicam
Well ok, I bought my digicam finally. Yeah...I bought my first love - Canon A80. Headed down to MS Color in Ang Mo Kio on saturday (my precious off day). It's the most recommended shop AND also the nearest, (other than Cathay Photo) & so I went down to have a look. I asked to look at A75 & A80 (for fun) when I actually already decide on exactly which cam I want. In less than 15 minutes, I told the sales-person "Ok! I'll take this!" *pointing at A80* You should have seen his face man...LOL! He looked so shocked and he stared at me for at least 5 seconds before proceeding. As I was looking at the new package he took out for me, he asked, "You've used this cam before?" And I replied, "Oh no. Not really." He still can't believe I decided on a rather high-end (as in the price) camera so soon. All thanks to months & months of research & re-thinking again & again =P After recovering from the shock he had, the sales-person took me to the cashier. And just as I expected, my NETS card can't be used. Why? It says limit exceeded. @#$%^&?! Thank god I took Mum's ATM card. With the previous experience at REDS Hair, I've learnt my lesson. It was so fucking embarrasing back then. Anyway, anyone know what exactly is the limit for POSBank NETS? Well yeah I'm still under 21 (birthday not here yet mah!) & the stupid bank personnel told me it's 2k the last time I asked. But apparently it's not. I can't even use it to pay a 600-odd product. After paying, I headed home cause I can't wait to use my darling baby.
I got home 20 minutes later after a bumpy ride on bus 74 (This bus brings back soooo many memories). I opened the camera package, took out my digicam like a nurse holding on to a delicate newborn baby. FUCK! There's a scratch on the camera body! Stupid me didn't check the exterior properly at the shop. I was just too engrossed in checking the zooming & all. Having no choice, I called Dad hoping he could give me a ride back to Ang Mo Kio but he told me to go take a bus *wails* That's when I think a boyfriend who owns a license AND a car comes into good use =P Because I don't have one, I took the bus back. Went back to the shop & asked for an exchange. They agreed & re-packaged my camera for me. As they were packing it, they realised the model number on the camera itself is different from what is stated on the warranty card. I was told to wait & the sales-person re-appeared with a new package. He said they have no choice but to give me this & so I thought, "Oh no! It must be a lousy package...why am I so sway?" Then, this broke my thoughts...."MADE IN JAPAN." I was like whaaat? The sales-person then said, "Actually this one costs more but boss say can give you. You can't get this in Singapore anymore. It's made in Japan. See! *points at the camera* and this one. *took the faulty one* made in China." Deep down inside me, I was jumping up & down. Hahahahaha! Being the typical Japan freak, I was damn happy. Exhilarated! Besides that point, he said the Japan model can't be found in Singapore anymore! Hear that? Hahahahaha! So you fellow A80 users out there, check your cam, it says Made in China right? Muahahahahahaha! Yes. I'm laughing at you. Feeling not so pissed, I went home with my MADE IN JAPAN digicam.
Got home, tried to fix the cables & all up & to my fucking pissing shocking anger, the installation cdrom can't be read by my cranky cdrom drive! I tried for the whole night from 9pm till 1am & still, the stupid programme still can't be installed. Thanks to the peeps that were trying to help me yesterday night. Thank you beautiful people! =] So much of excitement over my MADE IN JAPAN digicam & yet I can't download the software to transfer the photos I took onto my comp. So, I can't upload my pixxies onto my site as yet. I'm as impatient as you (if you are) =P I'm seriously giving up this time round. Gonna call the compaq people up on Monday and ask for a change. It's still under warranty anyway.
Fuckering thundering blistering blisters (almost) kills girl
Yes. My blisters are back! It's 10 times worse than any of the blisters I've got in my whole friggin' life.
Look! It's almost as big as my last finger's nails! Pus and blood kept "flowing" out last night. I thought my feet's rotting. =( The wound's dried up now & I think I'm gonna have this ugly scar on my feet for the rest of my life! Booohooo! Just as Feiwan was showing me her blister the other day, I got the almost bad blister as she has. Karma. But I didn't laugh at her what! =(
*Side note: uploaded a new picture of my FTBB. Thanks to Meiyan who told me an alternative way of loading the photos from the camera to the pc without installing the canon programme. Gee! Thanks alot girl, you made me feel stupid. Hahaha! (Personal joke!)
It isn't easy to say "Good bye..."
