Seeing all these sites make me miss MCM life all over again man. Awww...how I miss school *grabs tissue & wipes tear*
Radio Heatwave (I'm proud to be part of it in year 2002/2003)
CTV
Urbanwire
Tribune
Hype
Glad to say, the members are getting better & better each year. (Although most seniors/graduates will think that their juniors sucks) Well...it's been almost a year since I graduated from MCM & the next batch of masscommies will step out into the wide, evil, corrupted working world really soon. It's scary isn't it?
Time. Travelling in massive speed. Unstoppable. There, but so not visible.
It seems like just yesterday when I first stepped into the doors of Ngee Ann & fall into the embrace (or rather hands) of MCM life. The first lecture I had with Kon, feeling so dumb & useless always, in his lectures or tutorials & the silly haiku POEM (AS WHAT MR. SMART DJ POINTED OUT. POEM POEM POEM. HAPPY?) I made. "When I eat fishballs, I finish them all." (I had a thing with fishballs back then) The hectic year 1 life where my year 1 tutorial group seems to be jinxed. Guys left one by one...slowly....Patrick, Kenneth, Nick, Bryce. Hahahahha! Life got worse when I proceed to the second semester of year 1. The horrible ride I took with Matthew on his bike which made me thought I was going to die in his hands, under the wheel. Those hectic late night filming & using almost ALL of Ying's friends in our filming. Year 1 came & went by.
Year 2, (I got stuck with Zul, Amy & Ying for the whole of 3 years in MCM man until Ying flew over to the land of the Dragon) another horrible time spent. Advertising Campaign! The total killer...& of course not forgetting News Writing & Features Writing. Staying over at Jo-ann's house & all & making Farand buy me supper...LOL! Staying overnight in school for the first time when I was recruited for RHW's first movie marathon but somehow this event became CTV's annual thing out of the blue (Yeah! The stupid seniors made use of us as free labour)
The final days. I enjoyed my final year the most. Having radio heatwave & all. Rotting in the supposedly haunted & "dirty" (dirty as in, ahem....it's a sex house lah! Rumours. I wonder.) RHW office. Hosting on-air programmes with Siming & Anita & Ah-mad...laughing till I choke. & of course, the wonderful time in the darkroom - photojournalism. Screaming & getting so edgy for the first time I developed my negatives. Ahhhh...FUN (minus the backstabbing & gossips & all) sums it all. Of course, the lecturers are a friggin' bunch of fun people. YODA Ramani! WAYNE c'mon you guys! Mr. Nice Guy Kwek. Madam Lawyer Teo Yi-Ling (Oh btw, I heard she broke up with Paine already =x) The-NEVER-Smiling-Cindy-Yu (Gawd! She's so damn cool. I heard she went back Hongkong already...) Famous airpork Lai Ee-na. The one that thought I was working at Yoshinoya after I appeared in class in a white & orange T-shirt. How DUH is that? Ahhhh...& my all-time fave, Big Mama Ms A. Kuan!!!!!! (You may have seen her on Channel 5 news on weekends)
Memories. All of them. Vaccum-packed into the brain of mine. Air-tight. never go stale. =P
To all school'ers out there, I know this is fucking cliche but I'm gonna say it still & piss you off. School life is the BEST time of everyone's life. Pick out anyone walking in the CBD area, they'll prolly say the same thing. It's hard to find someone who hates school life (well, excluding current students). I know the grass is always greener on the other side (but it just means the cows/horses/donkeys/sheeps have crapped on it)
WTF is wrong with me man?! What's with this entry? LOL! It must be the horrible weather. I told you so.
