We often think life sucks, perhaps it's time we look at the better times of our lifes. Hah! My act of self-denial in action again. See how deep my self-denial sickness is dragging me into. Ignorance is bliss isn't it? =P
Ok, back track. Erm the best times of my life traces back to my old home in Tampines. A humble "village" kampong. YES! I ddi lived in a kampong before. The next time you drive along the road leading to Old Tampines Road, take note of the dense tree forest on your left. That was where I grew up & blabbed my first word. That was where I was just a cute lil girl with absolutely NOTHING to worry about. The small strong bonded kampong, with my uncles, aunties, great-grandmother, grandparents, parents & cousins living in the humble compound. That place brought me laughter, cries, as well as scars. I climbed the hills, the trees, explored the deeper part of the "forest", cried out loud when my bro placed earthworms on my head, getting all dirty in de mud pool, running away frm my mum when it's dinner time. Speaking about dinner, I had dinner under the moonlight on the wooden swing (romantic isn't it? hahaha...) I can't really remember but I think we all moved out when i started my primary one school life. (which I don't perceive to be part of the best times of my life. It was just too dull.)
Well...sec skool was fun as well. Especially in sec 3&4. sneaking off to de canteen during lesson time, bickering with de prefects, sleeping in my boring chemistry class. then came poly days. doing de things i rilly love. i dun dread skool @ all. not even once. lect days were fun, it's basically picnic time for me workshops are my fave. tho hectic, i missed de days of running thru tons & tons of rehearsals for my tv recording, hosting on my campus radio stn, of coz not forgetting my long time fave, photojournalism lessons. de gossips (tatz de highlight of mass comm life! ), de loud laughter i used to have, as well as de good food @ canteen 1 (i was in NP btw. de chicken chop rawks!) ahhhhh....i miss my poly days de most!
And now? Look at my life.... *sigh*
