It's not very often that I stay up this late on a weekday. Ever since I started on this job, I sleep at like 12.30am every weekday night. Well, almost.
Moi is on leave again, heading back to work on Friday. Had to clear off my annual leave before the year ends. But my dear boss has very nicely allowed me to consume 1 day of my leave next year. And, I still have like 10 over days of time-off to clear. Adding my annual leave in, I can not work for 1 month++ next year man! That is not ever gonna happen though. My event's driving me crazy. It's happening every month back to back. Before I know it, preparation for the next one needs to start. This pre-event, post-event, pre-event again, then post-event again is wearing me out! I'm beginning to miss the I-don't-have-to-bring-work-home-and-worry-when-I'm-on-leave days in the newsroom again...
Anyhow, I enjoyed my break today. Went to watch Nanking with Mum in the afternoon. It wasn't as good as I expected it to be. The narration of the war was not detailed enough and it kept bouncing from one character to the other. I got really confused at one point of time.
Shopped around VivoCity after the movie, then headed off to my Japanese school to register myself and 3 of my other classmates for Pre-Advance 2 class. The lesson will only commence in mid-February. A damn long wait...I need to self-study at home during this 2 months break before my Japanese turn rusty man!
Am gonna rot at home the whole of Thursday, get rested before heading back to work again. But somehow, I have this strange feeling that someone from office will call me for something again. (My colleagues have this strange habit of calling people even though they're on leave. I got calls every single day when I was on leave for 4 days last month to study for my Japanese exam. How nice.)
