It has somehow become my ritual to whine about work every Sunday night. I either sigh alot while watching TV with my parents around 9-ish or I'll whine in forums. Tonight, I'm here to grumble. I DON'T WANNA GET BACK TO WORK TOMORROW!
Monday's not even here, and I'm already thinking about where to have supper with my Japanese classmates after class on Friday. Well, at least something to look forward to I guess. Anyhow, I've been having dinner/supper with my classmates every Friday after class. We went to this new Japanese pasta place at The Central just 2 days ago - PASTA de WARAKU.
Our sensei told us about the place & we went there just 1 day after its opening. The food isn't exactly fantastic, but acceptable. I'm utterly amazed by the wide selection of pasta they have! Wanted to have my long-craved-for kare raisu, but it was sold out! Had their pizza set in the end. The set consisted of a pizza, a pasta, salad, soup & soft drink or wine. The pizza's really tiny & thin...smaller than my face I think. Pasta serving was just nice. Had the bacon & potato creamy sauce pasta, wasn't too rich. The Japanese manager suggested to me that I add some shoyu into it & I did. It tastes really weird. Thank god I only tried that when I'm left with 1 mouthful of pasta. The desserts are to die for I tell you! Shared the tiramisu parfait & vanilla dango with redbean & caramel sauce with my classmates. And I'm so craving for it now! I miss the dango! =(
Since it's their 2nd day of opening, they had this 50% vouchers in return promotion. We spent abt $120 that night & so I got almost $60 worth of vouchers in return. Gives me more reason to go back & have my kare raisu. Hiaks! Will prolly bring my colleagues there next time. My colleague still owes me a treat anyway. =P
