IF nothing goes wrong, I'll be flying to Japan at this time next year! It's a decision made on Friday night with my sensei & classmates after our "romantic" stroll & talk under the stars at East Coast Park.
Met up with my dear sensei & lovely classmates for movie, coffee & dinner on Good Friday which was indeed a good Friday. LOL! My classmate drove & we went down this very quaint PS. Cafe near Dempsey Road. The place is gorgeously beautiful I tell you. It's my kinda chill out place (read: I hate pubs). And the best part was, it was my sensei's treat for us! Lalalala~ =P The real best part is actually the company lah! Love them to bits! <3
Anyhow, back to my April 2008 Japan trip. My sensei is always telling us to save save save money and then go Japan. She wanted to buy a piggy bank for me from Daiso & she even came up with a "saving plan" for me. Which is to save $3 per day so that I can get about $90 each month. And after 12 months, I'll have $1080. But knowing my spending power, I decided to save $10 per day. After a year, I'll have $3600! Adding in the although-pathetic-but-still-better-than-nothing-bonus I'll be getting soon, it should be more than enough for me to fulfil my lifetime dream of going Japan for 2 weeks.
Tickets should be about $800 & my sensei offered to let us stay at her house, if we don't mind squeezing abit. So accomodation's done. I'll set aside $500 for food, $300 for misc expenditure (entry tickets etc.) & it leaves me with a whopping 2k for shopping! Imagine the amount of cosmetics I'm gonna buy back. Just the thought of it is exhilarating for me. Muahaha! =D
Now, all I need is the will-power to save & not touch a single cent of my bonus (except when using it for my Japanese class). Well, I shall start saving $10 everyday from Monday onwards. =P
