I keep getting company late in the night recently. Pals I do not wish to see or meet in the middle of the night. Nothing twilight, just Xiao Qiang & Xiao Hua.
Xiao Qiang being cockroach(es) & Xiao Hua being lizard(s). I've been seeing more of Xiao Hua lately though. Just the other day when I was snapping pictures of my newly-bought pair of wedges, Xiao Hua 1. crawled out of the cushion I laid on the floor. She was hiding underneath one of the wedges. Being a beach enthusiast perhaps, this Xiao Hua is particularly tanned. Kinda slow-motion too. Since she went into hiding into the air-con wirings, I let her be so.
Just 2 nights ago, she strolled out again & attempted suicide. She was at the window. Being the WOLS lizard she is, she contemplated on making that move. I tried to become an accomplice by pushing her forward with an umbrella. Still, she stayed dead. Then, Mum joined in & decided to free Xiao Hua 1. of her negative thoughts. She was then "let free" into the rubbish chute.
10 minutes ago, Xiao Qiang made a comeback! Thinking I won't notice him, he scrambled past my feet while I was totally engrossed in my Jdorama. He thought I would give him a warm welcome. But boy was he wrong. I was too taken aback by his sudden return that I wanted to give him a little pat on the back for scaring the shits out of me. But alas! When I turned around, he was gone, again!
Sensing his return, Xiao Hua 2 skipped out & waved her pretty little tail. But soon scrambed back again after I did some tap-dance on her.
God knows where Xiao Qiang & Xiao Hua are now. I won't wanna know anyway. So it's a adieus forever, I hope. You two please take care & nope, you won't be missed. Head a good life outside my room & I bet it'll be better for the both of you. And for me too.
