It's official. After 1 year, 5 months & 16 days at my company, I'm sent on an all-paid-for overseas worktrip (or junket, as it's commonly known) to Krabi/Phuket!
I'm like utterly, extremely, absolutely & ultimately excited. This is my virgin trip out of Singapore alone. I'll be flying alone (this really excites me. I LOVE to fly on a plane), travelling alone & sleeping alone in a totally foreign environment. Of course, I'll make friends with others on the same trip, but the feeling's just different. At the same time, I'm kinda scared too. Mixed feelings all together. But it's a good break from all that hustle in Singapore. (Gawd! I sound like a excited child going to McDonalds or something.)
Will be flying off next Friday. Freaking soon I know, but I was only informed about it like 2 days back & the itinerary's not even fixed. So, any tips for travelling alone? I'm being paranoid I know, but I'd like to hear some personal experiences. (But skip the scary bits please!)
