I'm filled with mirth! It's been such a long time I laugh so heartily. It's been so long I feel so at ease. It's been so long. Indeed.
Met up with Diana, Angie, Anne & Jiamei earlier on for Diana's birthday. Soooooo...happy to see Jiamei (my ex-colleague). Really miss those guys back in my previous work-place. I always fail to go back to visit them when I said I will on my last day back there.
It was a black girls' day out coz we were all in black! Hahaha! Not pre-planned I swear. We think so alike that even the presents we gave Dar are of the same kind. I bought a Perlinis necklace for her, Anne bought a pair of crystal earrings, and Angie gave her a cross pendant necklace. The simple coincidence in life that make friends so sweet...

Here's a hilarious scene that happened in the newsroom today. It's the usual time to send lines & my colleague was almost done with the sked when my editor came over & say there'll be a change of lines. She told my colleague verbally the new lines & I heard her say something about "busted". Now, I was the one that was told about this Chap Ji Kee syndicate assignment at Police Cantonment Complex by the police department, so naturally "busted" came into my mind. Nothing wrong. But guess what my colleague typed on the computer screen when she heard "busted" from my editor....B-A-S-T-A-R-D.

Okay. Maybe not so funny. But the 3 of us just laughed our heads off & we simply can't stop. It's really funny I swear. You just have to be there at that point of time, seeing the word bastard appear on the computer screen.
