IniQx° the shopping freak will always be a shopping freak. I thought I could curb myself but I couldn't!!!!! There goes part of my pay *sobs sobs* I could have used that money to pay my Internet bills. But never mind, I'm glad I bought the clothes =D
Went out to town for lunch with Di, Ron, CM, CK & Jess. The 5 of us managed to squeeze into CK's car. YES! We did it! With Ron in front & of coz CK driving & the remaining 4 girls crammed-up behind like sardines. But anyway, it wasn't exactly squeezy =x Yeah details. Jess wanted to collect her pants which was sent for altering & so they decided to head down town. After some "HK-style" lunch, we went to the Giordano at Lucky Plaza. The 2 guys then went ahead with their own stuffs, they won't wanna join us in our crazy shopping spree. As soon as we stepped in, the 3 of us (Jess went ahead to the counter) found clothes to try on. We all spotted the same pair of pants. Di & CM went ahead to try & I didn't! YES! I DID IT! I din try on the pants. I was just plain lazy. Hahahahaha! On the way back to the carpark, we passed by CK Tang & OMG! I saw a really nice-looking high-heel shoes! It's in PINK! It's sooOOooOOoOOOoooOOoOOOo gorgeous looking! I picked it up & Di saw the price & she said:
Di: "This is the kinda shoe that you'll only pick up once."
Me: "Yeah...but it's damn nice!"
Di: *laughs*
Me: The price is nice too.
Then, Ron asked: "What thing?"
Me: "That shoe damn nice & so is the price"
Ron: "How much?"
Me & Di: "$239"
Ron: "Woman are crazy"
Di: "With that amount of money I can buy like 10 pairs of shoes?"
Me: "Lidat I can eat how many packets of chicken rice?" (OKAY! I'm really bad in maths. Yes I admit. I'm a language expert but maths & science? Just kill me.)
Di: "about 100?"
Me: "fwah!"
With that, I totally threw the shoe out of my mind. (But you see, somehow it came back to me again). Having not wanting to go back office so early...I mean 'early', we went to the basement of CK Tang (YES! Food area. As Jess said, she wanted to make up for giving such a bad reccomendation for lunch.) We roam around & CM said she wanted ice-cream & so we bought a cup each. Hers was hazelnut & mine, double chocolate (wooooo!). That ice-cream ad claims that it's 94% fat-free for milk-based ice-cream & 99% fat-free for fruit-based. And I figured that's the reason behind the high price (It's $3.20 per scoop. Whoa!) But it made me feel less sinful *grins*
Knock off, I headed home & went for groceries shopping at Hougang Mall. But I ended up buying more than groceries. Much more. I went Iora & that's it, that's it. I went crazy in there. LOL! The salesperson showed me all the new stock but, only 2 pieces of clothes caught my eye. A black lycra top with really cute black-brown plastic buttons. So retro! And a short skirt with blue flowers embriodery on it. $26 & $39 respectively. So, I spent $65 in less than 30mins? The men don't get it. Only women are capable of such actions. We won again! =P
